Fair Usage Policy.
| Unfortunately, some users are
able to work around the contention or simply take very significantly more
data than the average user on which the contention ratio modeling has been
done. Such users take a disproportionately greater share of the available
bandwidth and, as a consequence, the majority of users suffer a diminished
experience. The statistics show that 5% of users download 40% of the total
data downloaded. These are our heaviest users. Unfortunately, they are
having an adverse impact on the experience of other users As such, UnlimitedADSL.com (Petersen's Online Service) has decided to introduce a Fair Use Policy if customers abuse the system. Under this Fair Use Policy, users on flat rate plans who download a amount of data that is excessive then data will be restricted.
