Terms and Conditions ADSL Service Contract
This document outlines general terms and conditions and supply of Unlimited ADSL service supplied by UltraConnect/Petersen's Online Services. General Both usage-based & Unlimited ADSL services have a 6 months minimum contract. After the first whole full month, the service can be cancelled but a $77 fee applies. After 6 months, the service can be terminated at anytime with no charge. Written confirmation in the form of an email is required to terminate accounts. Change in service 1. Customer can upgrade their service speed at any time. A $55 inc GST fee applies to change the service. 2. You can also change from a usage-based ADSL service to an unlimited service or Unlimited to Usage-based for a $55 inc GST fee. Upon signing-up 1. All ordering will be done via the online order system or Faxed orderforms. 2. A connection fee of $165 will be added to your account. This fee is for Telstra to convert the line to an ADSL enabled line. 3. You are billed for that connection from the 1st of the month and in advance. Upon signing up, you will be billed pro rata in arrears for the rest of the month at the end of the month and then also in advance for their next month. So your initial bill will contain: ·Your set-up fee (billed and payable weekly) ·Your first months access fee (in arrears if you sign a customer after the month has already started) ·Your second months access in advance. For Example - You have chosen the 256/64k metro service at $69 /mth You sign up on the 9th of the month with 30 days in that month You will be billed for 21 days = $48.30 for the pro rata part and $69 for the following month Total due at the 1st of the following month for that customer will be $165 connection fee $48.30 your first months access fee in arrears $69.00 second month’s access in advance Total =$282.30 inc GST Disconnecting a service 1. An ADSL service is for a 6 month period. The service however can be cancelled after 1 full month for a $77 fee. 2. If you want a service disconnected, we require 14 days notice prior to the date you wish the service to be disconnected via written confirmation in the form of an email. Account terms 1. You will receive a bill for your account on the 1st of each month. All accounts must be paid via Credit Card unless otherwise arranged. 2. If an account hasn't been paid buy the due date then the service will be disconnected. 3.Discounts may apply if account are paid three or more months in advance via a quote from sales. Fair Usage Policy UltraConnect reserves the right to introduce a Fair Use Policy in respect of this Service. UltraConnect may only introduce a Fair Use Policy by giving 90 days written notice to you. If an End User uses an Individual Service in excess of the Fair Use parameters, UltraConnect may at any time and without notice take the steps outlined in the Fair Use Policy. If a particular user is abusing the service we ring will you to discuss this issue before any other actions is taken. For example running an ISP or web hosting company off a connection would be considered abuse of the service
